π JEE Main 2026 Session 1: Important Dates
Mark your calendars! The JEE (Main) - 2026 will be conducted in two sessions: Session 1 (January 2026) and Session 2 (April 2026). Note these crucial dates for the January Session:
- Online Application Submission: October 31, 2025, to November 27, 2025 (Up to 09:00 P.M.).
- Last Date for Fee Transaction: November 27, 2025 (up to 11:50 P.M.).
- Announcement of Examination City: By the First week of January 2026.
- Date(s) of Examination: Between January 21 to January 30, 2026.
- Declaration of Result (Tentative): By February 12, 2026.
Applying for Session 2 (April 2026)
If you wish to apply for Session 2, a separate application opportunity will be provided later, and you can use the same Application Number if you applied for Session 1.

Key Paper Details
- Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) and Part-I of Paper 2 (Mathematics) are divided into two sections:
- Section A: Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Section B: Questions requiring answers as a numerical value.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking for incorrect answers in both Section A and Section B of Paper 1 and Part-I of Paper 2.
The examination will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
